George Will: A bipartisan abdication

As a term limits advocate I appreciated the following article. With the well deserved extremely low approval ratings given to Congress it is appropriate to point out one of their failings. There is a Netflix series that just completed its first season. It is called "House of Cards" and there are thirteen one hour episodes. The language is very rough, as it is in real political life, but the story line is unfortunately too close to reality. The NY Times did a story about the series here

Our founders did not envision career politicians who would enjoy well paid careers with many benefits including a handsome pension.  If we had a well informed electorate we would not need term limits.Under the present system the incumbents have an enormous advantage.
